Ahmedabad-based infrastructure company, Dineshchandra R Agrawal Infracon (DRA Infracon), has won the bid to develop a 121 km section of the Guwahati Ring Road in Assam. The project will be executed under a build, operate, and transfer (BOT) toll model.
DRA Infracon was the lowest bidder for the Rs 49 billion highway project in Assam, offering to construct the highway without requiring any grant from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
Other contenders included a joint venture between Adani Group and Ashoka Buildcon, and state-owned Rail Vikas Nigam.
