The Nagaland Foothills Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) has appealed to churches across Nagaland to pray for the successful progress of the Foothills Road Project, also known as the Trans Nagaland Expressway.
The committee has urged believers to offer prayers on Sunday, April 27, 2025, focusing on the project's smooth and timely completion. The appeal is timed with the commencement of the first phase of construction and is intended to seek spiritual support for this major developmental effort.
The Foothills Road aims to connect Tizit in Mon District to Khelma in Peren District, spanning around 395 kilometres. The NFHRCC is seeking divine intervention in two areas: ensuring the road is completed judiciously and on time, and fostering unity and wisdom among stakeholders such as lawmakers, civil society organisations, and land donors.
The committee believes that with collective faith and cooperation, the project will lead to inclusive growth and benefit the people of Nagaland.
