Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President A. Revanth Reddy has approached the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to propose a high-speed expressway connecting Hyderabad to Bandar Port. This initiative aims to boost regional connectivity and economic growth.

Revanth emphasised the strategic importance of the expressway, highlighting its potential to facilitate efficient transportation of goods and bolster trade activities. The proposed expressway is expected to significantly reduce travel time between Hyderabad and Bandar Port, making it a vital infrastructure project for the state.

The proposed high-speed expressway would not only enhance connectivity but also support the burgeoning industrial and commercial activities in the region. By providing a direct, fast link between Hyderabad and Bandar Port, the project aims to attract more investment and development opportunities to Telangana.

Revanth Reddy's proposal includes detailed plans for the expressway's route, expected benefits, and potential economic impact. He has urged the NHAI to prioritise this project, considering its significance for the state's growth and development.

The TPCC President's move has garnered attention from various stakeholders, including business leaders and local communities, who see the expressway as a catalyst for economic progress. The proposal is now awaiting a detailed review and approval from the NHAI.

If approved, the high-speed expressway will mark a significant milestone in Telangana's infrastructure development, enhancing its connectivity with key trade hubs and supporting its vision of sustainable economic growth.
