In his address, Revanth Reddy discussed the long-standing neglect of irrigation projects in Mahabubnagar. He stated that while laborers from Palamuru were working on irrigation projects nationwide, many local projects had remained unfinished due to previous administrative oversight. He committed to completing the Makthal, Narayanpet, and Kodangal irrigation projects and warned that any efforts to obstruct these initiatives would face public opposition.
Reflecting on the political support Mahabubnagar had historically provided, Revanth Reddy mentioned that K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) had been elected chief minister twice with substantial backing from the district. He also acknowledged Mahabubnagar’s support for the Congress party, which had contributed 12 MLAs, two MPs, and a chief minister.
Revanth Reddy further pledged to focus on regional development, ensuring that BT roads would be constructed in every village and that local education, healthcare, and employment opportunities would be improved for underserved communities in the area.
During his visit, Revanth Reddy was accompanied by ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Damodara Raja Narasimha. He also credited his rise to leadership to the blessings of Lord Kurumurthy.
