The initiative ensures that highway users are informed about the availability, rates, and procedures for availing of these concessional passes. Information boards will be installed at prominent locations, including fee plaza approaches, customer service areas, and entry and exit points. These signages will appear in English, Hindi, and regional languages, with visibility ensured during both day and night.
Details will also be made available on the ‘Rajmargyatra’ mobile app and NHAI project websites. Commuters residing within a 20-km radius of a fee plaza can avail of the Local Monthly Pass after submitting their Aadhaar card, vehicle registration certificate, and proof of address.
The Annual Pass, valid for one year or 200 fee-plaza crossings, can be purchased digitally via the Rajmargyatra App for Rs 3,000. It applies to private vehicles such as cars, jeeps, and vans, and is valid across about 1,150 toll plazas on National Highways and Expressways nationwide.
This step reinforces NHAI’s commitment to improving road user experience, making travel more economical, and ensuring transparency in toll operations across India.
