Dilip Buildcon (DBL) has secured a Rs 8.8 billion highway project in Tamil Nadu, winning the L-1 bid for the 46.665 km stretch from Paramakudi to Ramanathapuram under the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The project is set for a 24-month construction period and 15 years of operation under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM).

For Q2 FY2024, DBL reported a 93.6 per cent year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 2.7 billion, driven by an exceptional gain. EBITDA grew by 8.7 per cent to Rs 5.2 billion, with a margin improvement to 19.8 per cent. However, revenue declined by 16.4 per cent to Rs 26.2 billion, mainly due to slower EPC ordering activity.

DBL also successfully completed key projects, including the Bangalore-Chennai Expressway and the Raipur-Visakhapatnam Economic Corridor.

The company’s stock closed at Rs 481, up 0.65 per cent, reflecting positive market sentiment.
