Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari inspected the ongoing six-lane upgrade of the Shamlaji–Motachiloda section of NH-48 in Gujarat, accompanied by Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel and senior officials. He reviewed major structures along the corridor, including the Motipura Flyover near Himmatnagar and the VUP near Majra, and asked teams to speed up the completion of pending works and concrete service roads, with particular focus on proper drainage.
The Minister directed officials to take strict action against agencies responsible for delays or lapses and emphasised the need to strengthen road safety features and ensure smooth riding quality for commuters.
