Narendra Modi on Wednesday announced major infrastructure projects approved by the Union Cabinet, saying the initiatives would strengthen logistics networks and generate widespread employment. In a post on X, the Prime Minister said the Cabinet had cleared a six-lane Nashik–Solapur corridor in Maharashtra to reduce travel time and improve connectivity, in line with the PM GatiShakti vision.

The Cabinet also approved the expansion of NH-326 in Odisha, a move aimed at enhancing connectivity across the districts of Gajapati, Rayagada and Koraput. The highway upgrade is expected to support tourism, encourage industrial activity and promote inclusive development in tribal regions by improving access to markets and services.
