A B Infrabuild has received a letter of acceptance worth Rs 542.6 million from East Coast Railway under Indian Railways for the construction of a road over bridge.

According to an exchange filing, the project involves building an ROB comprising one 36.0-metre composite girder, two 24.0-metre composite girders and four 18.75-metre T-beam girders at km 657/2931. The bridge will replace Level Crossing No. 354 between Baruva railway station and Mandasa Road railway station on the Howrah–Visakhapatnam main line under the Khurda Road Division.

The total contract value stands at Rs 542.6 million, with the project scheduled for completion within 24 months. The company clarified that neither its promoters nor members of the promoter group have any interest in the awarding authority and that the order does not constitute a related-party transaction under applicable regulations.

A B Infrabuild is engaged in civil construction activities including roads, railways, bridges and allied infrastructure works, covering construction, maintenance, expansion and development.

On the financial front, the company’s standalone net profit declined 43.6 per cent year-on-year to Rs 21.1 million in the second quarter of FY26, while revenue from operations fell 21 per cent to Rs 373.0 million compared with the same period last year.

Shares of A B Infrabuild ended 0.62 per cent lower at Rs 19.29 on the BSE.
