Chaitanya Projects Consultancy (CPCL) has secured the top position in the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)’s first-ever provisional Detailed Project Report (DPR) consultants rating, achieving a score of 80.75 out of 100. The firm outperformed 55 peer organisations, ranking ahead of Pentacle Consultants (78), L&T Infrastructure Engineering (76), MSV International Technology (74) and Transys Consulting (72).
The rankings, released in the fourth week of January 2026, mark NHAI’s first structured and transparent evaluation of DPR consultants to improve quality standards for national highway projects under Bharatmala and other programmes. The provisional list assesses firms against defined performance parameters and includes a provision for consultants to submit appeals. The initiative aligns with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s emphasis on accountability within infrastructure consultancy.
Commenting on the achievement, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Sinha, Founder & Managing Director, Chaitanya Projects Consultancy Limited, said, “Being ranked number one in NHAI’s first-ever DPR consultant ratings is a deeply meaningful milestone for all of us at CPCL. It reflects more than two decades of hard work, consistency, and belief in doing things the right way. We started with a small team and big dreams, and over the years, we have grown into a trusted partner for India’s highway development. As the country’s infrastructure push accelerates under the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, we remain committed to building highways that are not just technically sound but sustainable, safe, and future-ready. This recognition strengthens our resolve to keep raising the bar for quality and accountability in infrastructure consultancy.”
