Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that the Ganga Expressway is expected to be completed by February, marking a major milestone in the state’s infrastructure development and connectivity expansion.

During a high-level review meeting in Lucknow, the Chief Minister assessed progress across key sectors including infrastructure, irrigation, energy, education and industrial development. He said that large-scale infrastructure and development projects are rapidly positioning Uttar Pradesh as a major centre of economic growth and investment.

Adityanath emphasised that the timely and high-quality completion of flagship projects remains the government’s top priority. He noted that mega infrastructure initiatives are strengthening the state’s connectivity network and accelerating socio-economic transformation across regions.

The Chief Minister added that the state government is focused on ensuring that development schemes are implemented efficiently and within stipulated timelines, with the broader objective of enhancing investment attractiveness, improving public services and supporting long-term economic expansion.

The Ganga Expressway, once completed, is expected to significantly improve transport efficiency, reduce travel time and support industrial and commercial activity across Uttar Pradesh, reinforcing the state’s role as a key growth engine in India.
