The wider development agenda cited includes the Super Six programmes, large-scale investments, job creation for youth, completion of the Polavaram project, metro planning and port construction, and rapid development of the state capital. The groundbreaking was attended by Andhra Pradesh Valmiki Corporation Chairperson Bojjamma, mandal planning and development officer Jyothi, divisional engineer Manohar, TDP mandal convener Vijayabhaskar Goud, market yard director Saroja and representatives from the Telugu Desam Party and Jana Sena Party along with local residents. The gathering observed that targeted investment in basic infrastructure under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme can create employment and improve access to services for village communities. Implementation will be overseen by district engineers and mandal officials.
