The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has begun work to develop Bee Corridors along national highways in Chhattisgarh to conserve honeybees and enhance biodiversity. The first corridor will be established on the NH-53 Arang–Saraipali stretch with preparatory work initiated by the Raipur offices. The initiative forms part of the authority's broader effort to integrate ecological considerations into infrastructure development and to promote sustainability along transport corridors.
