TrucksUp has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), through Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL), to enhance safety, efficiency and user experience for commercial vehicle operators on national highways.
The collaboration will integrate the Rajmargyatra App into the TrucksUp platform, enabling drivers to receive real-time alerts on accident-prone zones, diversions, construction activity and weather conditions. It will also allow geo-tagged reporting of road issues such as potholes and damaged infrastructure through a centralised system.
The platform will additionally incorporate the ‘Call 1033’ feature, providing direct access to the National Highway Helpline for emergency assistance. The initiative brings together multiple aggregation platforms to enable interoperable, technology-driven solutions for highway operations.
Commenting on the collaboration, Sarthak, spokesperson at TrucksUp, said, “This partnership with NHAI marks a significant step towards building a safer and more efficient highway ecosystem. By integrating real-time data, driver feedback, and emergency response systems, we are empowering drivers with the right information at the right time, ultimately enhancing road safety and operational efficiency.”
He further added, “At TrucksUp, our focus has always been on leveraging technology to solve real-world challenges in logistics. Through this initiative, we aim to strengthen driver engagement, promote responsible driving practices, and contribute to a more transparent and responsive highway infrastructure.”
The partnership will also promote safe driving through initiatives such as the Vishisht Saarthi programme and enable structured feedback on toll operations, FASTag issues and wayside facilities, aimed at improving service standards across India’s highway network.
