Refex Industries has secured a domestic order worth Rs 209.4 million (Rs 20.94 crore; Rs 209.4 mn) from a Maharashtra based entity for ash transportation. The contract covers movement of ash to construction sites for road projects undertaken by the National Highways Authority of India and other central and state government road construction departments as well as Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana projects. The assignment will be executed over a period of 12 months. The company stated that neither its promoter nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding entity and that the order does not constitute a related party transaction.

Chennai based Refex Industries has developed a portfolio spanning ash and coal handling, wind energy and green mobility solutions. The company will deploy existing logistics and handling capabilities to fulfil the contract requirements. The order aligns with its focus on infrastructure services and materials transportation.

Refex reported consolidated net profit surged by 87.96 per cent to Rs 908.2 million (Rs 90.82 crore; Rs 908.2 mn) in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026 over the corresponding quarter a year earlier, on a 57.14 per cent rise in revenue from operations to Rs 9.3417 billion (Rs 934.17 crore; Rs 9.3417 bn). The results underscored strong demand across its business segments and higher utilisation of assets. Management described the quarter as reflecting improved operational performance.

Shares of Refex Industries fell by 1.12 per cent and closed at Rs 347.70 on the BSE. The company will execute the contract during the coming year and the order will add to its near term revenue visibility. The transaction is modest in scale relative to the company's broader order book but is incremental to its services pipeline.
