At Kalajhar on the Patiala Bypass (NH-64) cars and LMVs will be charged Rs 115 for a single trip and Rs 175 for a two-way journey, while buses and trucks will pay Rs 390 and Rs 585 respectively. On the Tapa-Bathinda section (NH-7) at Lehrabega cars and LMVs are set at Rs 80 and Rs 120, with buses and trucks at Rs 270 and Rs 400. At Kot Karor on NH-15 cars and LMVs are set at Rs 50 and Rs 70 while buses and trucks are set at Rs 165 and Rs 250.
The Ghulal plaza on the Chandigarh-Kharar-Ludhiana section (NH-5) mirrors rates at Kalajhar for several vehicle categories, while Kala Tibba on the Abohar stretch applies lower charges for cars and LMVs at Rs 50 and Rs 80 and proportionately higher rates for heavier vehicles. Khuian Sarvar on the Malout-Abohar bypass and Shekhpura on the Maur-Romana Mandi stretch apply mid-range tariffs, and Paind on NH-52 imposes charges such as Rs 95 for a single car journey and Rs 145 for a two-way trip.
NHAI has notified revised rates at more than 50 toll plazas across the region, though the hike is minimal at most locations. The authority updated its tolling framework and reinstated a Wholesale Price Index linking factor of 1.641 for user fee calculations. An NHAI official said user fee had been reduced in some cases last year and that the revised framework restores prior rates in certain instances while increases remain limited.
