Officials were directed to prepare and submit a storm water drain proposal to the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation for examination and necessary action, the review noting the importance of integrated drainage for longevity of the widened road. Coordination was emphasised between HMDA and local agencies to synchronise utility relocation, environmental clearances and construction schedules. The inspection identified sections needing immediate attention to prevent delays once civil works commence.
The minister directed all departments to work in close coordination and adhere to the timelines to ensure timely completion of the project, and asked for periodic progress reports to be furnished to the office of the Industries Ministry. The inspection is part of a wider drive to upgrade arterial links in the city and support connectivity to technology and industrial hubs. Work plans will focus on minimising inconvenience to residents while delivering the widened carriageway within the stated schedule.
