Sridhar Babu directed authorities to fast track land acquisition in Dulapally and Bahadurpally to clear the way for uninterrupted construction. He asked the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) to prepare and submit proposals for stormwater drains to the City Municipal Council (CMC) for examination and necessary action. The objective is to ensure adequate drainage along the corridor and to avoid waterlogging once the widened road becomes operational. They were told to coordinate closely with utility agencies to synchronise relocation works and avoid further delays.
The minister emphasised close coordination among agencies and regular monitoring to ensure adherence to the deadlines and to prevent further slippage. He asked officials to report progress at specified intervals and to remove any administrative or field level obstacles promptly. The measures are intended to improve traffic flow, support local development and deliver benefits to commuters within the stipulated timeframe. Periodic reports on milestones and constraints were to be submitted to the ministerial office for review.
