Matrix Geo Solutions has completed a highway survey assignment covering 314 km across five road sections under LOT-2/HARYANA/Package-1. The assignment was awarded by RITES, a Navratna enterprise of the government of India under the Ministry of Railways, on behalf of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The work forms part of consultancy services to prepare a detailed project report for development of economic corridors, inter?corridor and feeder routes to improve freight movement efficiency.

Matrix Geo Solutions was responsible for mapping physical, utility and land?related characteristics across the identified highway sections to support planning and design. The scope required integration of diverse datasets so that terrain information, underground utilities, road alignments and cadastral records could be used within a common project framework. The company also provided final location survey services and land acquisition support alongside digitisation of cadastral maps.

Topographic data were captured using aerial and mobile light detection and ranging (LiDAR) systems together with unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) surveys, while ground penetrating radar (GPR) was employed for utility mapping. Combining aerial, mobile and ground?based technologies enabled consistent spatial accuracy across long and varied road corridors. Data processing and quality control were conducted to maintain spatial consistency across all datasets.

The five road sections covered were Rewari–Narnaul–Pacheri Kalan on NH?11, Narnaul–Nangal Chaudhary–Paniyala Mor on NH?148B, Gurgaon–Pataudi–Rewari on NH?352W, Sangat Kalan–Mandi Dabwali–Sangaria on NH?54 and Bhiwani–Bawani Khera–Hansi?Barwala on NH?148B. Execution across multiple stretches required sustained coordination between field surveys, processing teams and project stakeholders.

The assignment was executed with a contract value of Rs 28.26 mn including GST. RITES has issued an experience and completion certificate dated 21 August 2026 confirming satisfactory completion of the work. The company said the effort demanded accurate execution at each stage and sustained coordination over an extended period to meet project requirements.

The completed assignment adds to Matrix Geo Solutions' experience in large?scale highway surveying and geospatial mapping and demonstrates integrated use of technologies for infrastructure project preparation. Such integrated spatial information is intended to support multiple stages of planning and development for corridor and feeder route projects.
