The project was declared fit for entry into commercial operation on February 28, 2025. It involves the development of a six-lane stretch of Urban Extension Road-II, also identified as NH-344 M, under Package 1 in Delhi.
The completed road extends from NH-1 to Karala-Kanjhawala Road and covers the section between Km (-) 0+700 and 15+000. The National Highways Authority of India awarded the project under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction mode, making it responsible for the development and delivery of the specified road infrastructure.
HG Infra Engineering, established in 2003, works on roads and highways and undertakes projects under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction and Hybrid Annuity Model arrangements. The company has expanded its activities into railways, metro systems, solar projects, battery energy storage systems, and transmission and distribution infrastructure.
The company has a presence across more than 15 states in India. Its shares closed at Rs. 469.55 on Thursday, up 4.30 per cent from the previous close. However, the stock had declined 36.54 per cent on a year-to-date basis by the end of the trading session.
