The record-setting work was carried out from Sadarlapalli in the Puttaparthi assembly constituency. The highway is being developed to strengthen regional connectivity and provide faster road links, making the achievement a significant milestone in the construction of the route and the wider expressway project.
Representatives of Raj Path Infrastructure met Puttaparthi MLA Palle Sindhura Reddy on Friday and handed over a copy of the Guinness World Records certificate. The company conveyed its appreciation for the support provided by the MLA during the completion of the highway stretch within the record period.
Construction of the road began at 8 a.m. on January 5 and concluded at 8 a.m. on January 6. Over the 24-hour operation, Raj Path Infrastructure laid 28.95 km of road using 7,500 t of concrete and asphalt, according to company authorities. The work involved completing a defined section of the highway within a tightly scheduled construction window.
Raj Path Infrastructure already has two entries in the Guinness World Records. The latest achievement improves on its earlier records and was completed during construction of the Amaravati-Bangalore Expressway in the Sathya Sai district. It links the company’s road-building work with the broader development of the expressway and its planned regional connectivity benefits.
The NH-544G project is intended to create a new highway connection through the region and improve movement between locations served by the route. The record was achieved on one section of the project, while the completed BC surface forms part of the larger infrastructure programme. The certificate presentation formally recognised the construction milestone and the company’s contribution to the expressway’s development.
